Our family run B&B in Ormskirk, Burscough, Lancashire, dates from 1706 when it first belonged to the Brandreth family. The Wilson family acquired the farm in 1967 and converted one of the barns into the present day Burscough B & B in 1990. As well as being an arable farm (we grow carrots, potatoes and wheat) we currently have hens, one horse, two donkeys, and a Shetland pony, which the children are particularly fond of!
Our accommodation near Martin Mere Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust features a Farmhouse style Tea Room with a selection of gifts & greetings cards. Our Tea Room area is also available for small private bookings such as Christenings, Weddings, Conference meetings, and we pride ourselves in being able to offer that all important personal touch with honest home cooked food in a relaxing atmospehere. Disabled access has also been incorporated into the design of the B&B (ground floor rooms) to allow all of our guests to enjoy a memorable and happy stay.
